Tijs Karman

Rubicon and ITAMP Postdoctoral Fellow

Bio
Tijs obtained his M.Sc. in chemistry in 2013 from Raboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands (highest honors, Unilever Research Award), followed by his Ph.D. in 2018 with professors Gerrit C. Groenenboom and Ad van der Avoird (highest honors, IMM Thesis Award). From 2017, Tijs was a postdoctoral researcher working with professor Jeremy M. Hutson in Durham, United Kingdom. Since October 2018, he is a postdoctoral fellow at ITAMP, Harvard, supported by both an NWO Rubicon Netherlands national grant and the ITAMP Fellowship.
