UVCS Tutorial: ``Follow the Photons''
The image below allows you to follow the paths of
photons, from their initial emission on the Sun or in
the corona, all the way through the
UVCS
instrument. The photons in this schematic illustration
flow from the top to the bottom, but in reality, inside
UVCS they
are reflected back and forth several times
(see below).
