Styx

  • The innermost satellite, Styx, is the most smallest. Less than 15-20 km across, it reflects about 65% of the light that it receives from the Sun.

  • Styx is about as close as it can be to Pluto-Charon and still have a stable orbit.

  • Styx was too far away from New Horizons for a detailed image, but it is clearly elongated like the other satellites and might have a dumbbell-shaped structure
