Nix
- With the lowest reflectivity of all the satellites (56%) Nix, is a colorful oval roughly 40 km across.
- Nix is just a little less massive than Hydra and has the most circular orbit of the four small satellites.
- Nix rotates chaotically with a period of nearly 2 days, much shorter than its orbital period of nearly 25 days. The origin of the chaotic rotation is unclear.
