Peter Cheimets' Home Page


 


I work in the Central Engineering Department at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). I develop projects for SAO. I work with internal and external organizations to conceptualize new, exciting opportunities in astrophysics. I lead the efforts to identify and aquire the funding to carry out these projects. Once the funding has been received, I oversee all aspects of the Project's management to ensure that the effort is carried out successfully.
