Instrument/Calibration Team

The Instrument/Calibration Team I/CT consists of Instrument Scientists from SAO and Italy. Team members will be present at the EOF during designated periods and two days per week during normal operations periods. The I/CT is responsible for defining all calibration observations, analyzing the data, and deriving instrument calibration parameters.

Specific tasks are the following:

1. Analyze the data obtained during in-flight flat field, radiometric and wavelength calibrations.

2. Analyze data from solar and stellar observation aimed at calibrating instrument pointing and optical alignment.

3. Derive calibration data (flat fields, calibration parameters, etc.) in a form which is readily usable by UVCS Data Analysis Software.

4. Interface with the MPT and IOT in the acquisition of the required data.
