Dr. Warren Brown at the commissioning of the SAO Widefield
Infrared Camera ("SWIRC") on the MMT telescope. Dr. Brown built SWIRC as
a CfA Fellow, taking the instrument from proposal to commissioning in 13
months. This sensitive imager is now used to observe objects from nearby
star clusters to the most distant quasars in the known Universe.
