Members of the Design/Drafting and Configuration Control group perform detailed mechanical and electro-mechanical design, and develop engineering documentation, for projects during all phases of development--from proposal through completed instrument. They also provide Document Control, at the level required, for every project.

Central Engineering's extensive hybrid computer network, and specialized computer aided design/engineering software, is locally managed by the CE Systems Group.
