The best oreint is to have a slit 30 degrees East of North.
(Or with MIKE.... this could be either ~1 hour before or after transit ?? )

I think we want to use a big aperture to get as most of the ring as possible.
But, without placing the nearby star in the aperture. We probably will get 
the PSF wings into the aperture from the nearby star...

When doing the ACQ, don't centroid. The centroid may peak up on one of the nearby
stars instead of the sn1987a. Just click with "M" manual mode in the middle of
the blob....
