Finally, Abby fell asleep.  Much of AbbyÕs best sleeping between the ages of 0 and 4 was done in cars.  These two pictures were taken nearly exactly 1 year apart, both returning from vacations at SmugglerÕs Notch (in Vermont), with Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Papa, Auntie Meryl, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Jonathan & Cousin Hannah.  Note the bikes on the rack in back--the young Abby loved travelling by by bike (in her special seat) from the age of 6 months.  Now, she has her own bike & is looking forward to riding it on ÒtrailsÓ someday.   For now, a favorite way to use her bike is as a ÒtrailerÓ with a special hitch-up to Mommy or DaddyÕs bike.   Abby also enjoys riding in the jogging stroller with Mom rollerblade-pushing. Her other favorite sports are horseback riding (1st done in Florida at age 2), sledding (all ages!), skiing (which she tried in Utah at age 3), and swimming (all ages--and now she can swim pretty far w/o any assistance).
