subject:	Re: SMA MIRIAD Bug Report

Thanks, Peter.
I was in the middle of a crisis in recovery of two 1TB internal disks; one was crashed early last week
and other had been crashed several times since last year. One of them containing the
data reduction packages has been sending to a vendor for repair while requesting SMA for replacement
of the bad disks.

Glen:
Which version of Miriad that you were using? You appeared to not specify the version that you were using.
There are quite a few old versions of Miriad that were installed by some users' groups on the CF system.
New versions Miriad have been developed for handling SMA SWARM data are based on the latest version of
Miriad imported from CARMA (around 2012 in my recollection). The new Miriad versions for handling SMA
wideband data that are distributed across CfA (RG, Hilo, CF) can be found from SMA Miriad official web-page:

I just checked the uvdat.h and have made a certain maxIn = 400; please give a try .

Please disable any of the environmental settings from those older Miriad's before source the setup c-shell.
They do/did cause troubles for using the new versions of Miriad, conflicting environ setting.

      Thanks,

      Jun-Hui
