subject:	Re: SMA SWARM full polarization observations towards Sgr A*

Dear Dr. Wright, Jun-Hui,

Indeed I suggested to those JCMT staffs to observe 3C286 during my visit.
But they didn't say anything.
I wasn't sure whether I should follow up with them since I am an external user.
Someone told me that China stops funding JCMT (?); Japan has stopped earlier
(their own ASTE telescope in Chile in the last semester was undersubscribed (~0.5 from what I heard)).
Now sure how JCMT would continue the operation.
Our existing data seem to have detected some polarized dust emission from GC molecular clouds.
After we align the Sgr A* signal with SMA, anther thing we can check may be perform some smoothing and then compare with Planck.

Best wishes,
Baobab
