With uvspec/smauvspec and uvplt/smauvplt, we have identified problems in the SMA data. The bad data points must be removed and be deleted prior to further data processing. There are a variety of ways to flag bad correlations. Miriad provides several useful tools for SMA users to flag bad data points. A few of the Miriad flagging/editing tools are introduced in the following.
