CVS Update

For system administrators, or for one who supports the Miriad by him/herself, one may need frequently to update the Miriad version. The procedure to update Miriad is rather simple:

1. cd miriad_cvs               % get into cvs; 
   cvs update                  % cvs update will update current version in
                               % BIMA cvs system
2. cd miriad_cvs/install       % go to the sub-directory install
3. install.miriad              % run the installation script;
                                 it will take a few minutes
                                 to compile the new system.
