Basic Information on gethd

Task: gethd
Purpose: Print the value of a header item.
Categories: miscellaneous

Key: in
The name of an item within a dataset. This is given in the form
  in=dataset/item
There is no default. The dataset may be either a uv or image data-set. 

Key: format
For numeric values, this determines the way that the output value
is converted and formated. Possible values are:
  default   No conversion. This is the default.
  time      The value is assumed to be a Julian day, and is formatted
            into Miriad's date format.
  pol       The value is assumed to be a polarization tag, and is
            formatted as I,Q,U,V,XX,YY, etc.
The following assume that the value is in radians.
  arcsec    The value is converted to arcsec.
  arcmin    The value is converted to arcmin.
  degrees   The value is converted to degrees.
  hours     The value is converted to hours.
  hms       The value is formatted as hh:mm:ss.
  dms       The value is formatted as dd:mm:ss.

Key: log
Output log file. Default is the terminal.
