Dear Jun-Hui,
I did follow the regular installation steps, and I am able
to read 4GHz data with polarization and even get fantastic results.
My only problem is that smaflux came with smaMiriad20May2011.tar
is not the newest version according to you.
Here are some inquiry of the version information
MIRIAD version <<<<<<< VERSION: beta 1.3.1. 2011-05-20 for handling
SMA 4GHz and 2GHz mode data. >>>>>>> [CVS] loaded from
MIR=/n/astromake/opt/miriad_cvs
Optimized for telescope=sma
[slai@sky ~]$ which smaflux
/n/astromake/opt/miriad_cvs/bin/linux/smaflux
[slai@sky ~]$ more /n/astromake/opt/miriad_cvs/VERSION
<<<<<<< VERSION:
beta 1.3.1. 2011-05-20 for handling SMA 4GHz and 2GHz mode data.
[slai@sky ~]$ smaflux
SmaFlux: version 1.1 17-02-07
### Fatal Error [smaflux]: No input files were given.

Many thanks!!

Dear Shih-Ping,
Again your version of Miriad for SMA data reduction appears
to be out of date. The Fatal Error in "smaflux" that you reported is
related to the ephemeris of the solar objects which has been
updated in the beta release (SMA beta release 1.3.1).
