maximum, with the host spiral galaxy NGC 4526 in Virgo.

This image is a series of images of SN 1987A from 1994 - 1998, showing
the debris is getting fainter and bigger and a new part of the ring getting
brighter.
SN 1987A and LMC
This image shows SN 1987A and a "small" patch of the Large
Magellanic Cloud. The image is an mosiac of all of our WFPC2 images
covering about 4 arcminutes of the LMC.
