Research Techniques for Undergraduate Faculty in Small Observatories

The Research Techniques Project was funded (in 1992, 1993 and in 1995) by the National Science Foundation. The project emphasis was on the teachers of introductory college astronomy courses at small colleges. By conducting two one-week workshops per summer, the project staff endeavored to enhance the faculty effectiveness of astronomy instructors by assisting them in developing their own observational astronomy research programs and exposing them to topics of current research.
