Comments

This survey half-beamwidth (0.0625°) samples the Galactic plane over a range larger than the entire second quadrant. For the cube presented here, the data have been spatially smoothed by convolution with a 2d gaussian with fwhm=0.125 and then put on a 0.125° grid. This improves the S/N ratio with only a slight loss of angular resolution and allows the beamwidth sampled surveys Cygnus (DHT10), CasA (DHT14), and MonOB1 (DHT26) to be included in the cube. All the spectra were interpolated to a channel spacing of exactly 1.300 km/s (in contrast to many other surveys that have a spacing of 1.3004 km/s, corresponding to 0.5 MHz at the CO frequency).
