An Introduction to MMIRS, the MMT and Magellan Infrared Spectrograph

| MMIRS is a new multislit 1-2.5 micron spectrograph that will be deployed at the MMT in just a few months, and then to Magellan. It will offer resolutions of 1200 and 3000 over a 4x7. I will describe our current progress and commissioning plans. |
