Hectospec and Galaxy Clusters

| Galaxy clusters are surrounded by infall regions where galaxies are bound to the cluster but have not yet virialized. These infall regions are the largest bound structures in the universe. I will discuss how the dynamics of cluster galaxies can constrain cosmological parameters. A Hectospec survey of massive clusters should soon improve these constraints, while simultaneously providing valuable information on the structure and evolution of infall regions and the evolution of cluster galaxies. |
