Radio Super Nebulae in Starbursts: Proto-Globular Clusters?
Dr. Sara Beck (Tel Aviv University/CfA)
Abstract
We have found intense, compact, optically obscured radio nebulae in
several starburst galaxies. These sources are less than a few pc in
size but contain thousands of young massive stars. These are the
earliest observed stage of Super Star Cluster formation and at least
some of them are likely to end as globular clusters.
