Dr. Bihui Zhu

ITAMP Postdoctoral Fellow

Brief Bio
I am a theoretical physicist working at the Institute for Theoretical Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (ITAMP) at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. My research focus lies at the intersection of quantum optics and condensed matter physics.

I received my Ph.D from University of Colorado Boulder, under the supervision of Prof. Ana Maria Rey and Prof. Murray J. Holland at JILA, where I collaborated with both theorists and experimentalists to explore interesting quantum many-body physics in AMO systems.

Research Interests

  • Non-equilibrium quantum dynamics
  • Many-body physics in driven dissipative systems
  • Quantum optics
  • Quantum simulation
  • Ultracold molecules
  • Quantum information
