The 9th biennial HITRAN Conference will take place 26-28 June 2006 (the beginning of the week just after the Ohio State University Symposium). As with the last HITRAN meeting, the location will be at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts. If you anticipate attending, please fill out the Registration Form as soon as possible. The meeting is limited to 120 attendees, and the registration fee will increase in April. |
The conference consists of poster and oral presentations selected for their contributions to the spectroscopic databases, such as HITRAN, HITEMP, and to relevant user applications. The meeting will feature a session on water-vapor spectroscopy and a new paradigm for spectroscopic database archiving. |
